Dana Shertz is a management consultant and business advisor specializing in the Consumer Products, Sports, Retail, and Hospitality industries. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, HR solutions, operations, sales growth, product development, brand management and acquisition strategies.

He’s the Founder of Contineo Ventures and works with start-ups, Fortune 500 and non-profit organizations. Dana’s operational capabilities reflect the unique issues facing the consumer market, manufacturing organizations and infrastructure operations.

Dana’s 25+ years of executive leadership with industry leading organizations includes President & COO of MacGregor Golf, the oldest global golf brand. There, he increased revenue by 150%, achieved a 66% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), and reduced overall costs by 22%. He developed a national advertising campaign that included marquee names such as Greg Norman, Aaron Baddeley and Jose Maria Olazabal. Prior to MacGregor, he spent 13 years in various Executive roles at Callaway, including as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where he oversaw revenue growth from $5 million to $840 million, annually. Dana participated in product development initiatives that led to the introduction of such notable products as Great Big Berthas Woods, Big Bertha Irons and Odyssey White Hot Putters. He was COO and CMO at EnDev Enterprises, a leader in the hospitality industry credited with being a key driver in revitalizing San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.

Dana’s community leadership roles include serving as the Vice Chair of Mentorship at Chairmen’s Roundtable. Since 2008, he’s been Executive Board member of  San Diego Sport Innovators (SDSI) . He is also Chair of their Springboard committee.
